Time Flies

Time flies so fast. It comes to the end of the Semester 4. Final exams are coming. Stress is also coming.

I want to start to do revision but I just feel like I don't have the mood to study because  I want to take a break first after completing so many tasks and assignment even though I already rest for few days. I hope that I have to motivation to study for my final exam. To set my mind into study mode, I plan to group study with my course mates.

Every time I will tell myself secretly that if I now do not fight for what I want, then I do not have the right to cry when I do not get what I wish to have. This mind has actually helps me a lot so that I can focus on study last time.

Okay, well!

Study Mode & Exam Mode ON now!

ALL THE BEST and GOOD LUCK to those who going to sit for final exam!!

Creativity and Innovation Products Exhibition

Today, I woke up early in the morning around 8 a.m. because I have to go to the creativity and innovation products exhibition for Creativity and Innovation course at COB foyer before 9.30 a.m. It is actually a part of our coursework.

My group is made up of 5 people. All my group members are my university best friends, course mates and also hostel mates. They are Chia Wei, Ke Xin, Ho Yann and Ying Ying. Five of us went there in the morning for preparation for exhibition of our product.

The theme for the creativity and innovation products exhibition is "World of Joy and Education". To join the exhibition, we have create a innovative product. Our product named Ring-to Link. It is actually a maths game board. The idea source of our product comes from dot to dot, which is a form of puzzle containing a sequence of numbered dots, like what the picture shown below.

Dot to dot puzzle

We were shocked and surprised with what other groups done for their exhibition. The product they created is awesome. They also put many effort on the product as well as the decoration of the exhibition booth. Although my group did not get any prize, we still very enjoy to be there. It is because it is a very good experience to participate this exhibition. We have learned a lot from other participants in terms of their creative and innovative idea, their hard work and also their presentation skills in front panel of judges.

A Short Escape with My Best Friends

In the middle of my unfinished works, I decided to have a short escape from tons of assignments with my best friends. A short escape to Changlun. Haha. Two of my best friends, Si Min and Hooi Siew, are Utarian. Both of them just finished their final exam on 10th May, so they decided to drive car to come and find me and my another best friend, Pei Ching. When I knew they seriously want to come this "jungle" to find us, I felt surprise and cant even hide my happiness. The feeling at that moment is just like "Oh, finally I can go out and play and finally need not to face assignments for nearly 24 hours".

On 15th May, Pei Ching and I attended our lecture class as usual in the morning and afternoon session. Si Min and Hooi Siew reached UUM by 5pm. After fetching us from our hostel, we were heading to T-Hotel in Changlun. It is the second time for four of us to stay in this hotel. It left us a very beautiful and sweet memories. The first time we stayed at T-Hotel is on mid of Feb 2016. After checking-in the T-Hotel and dropped our bag in hotel. Then we went to Sabai Dee Cafe which is located at Jitra, Kedah. We took more than one hour to reach this destination because that time raining quite heavily.

It is the dishes we ordered at Sabai Dee Cafe.
Most of the dishes are traditional spicy Thai food because all of us like to eat spicy food.

We also ordered a Thai-style spicy sour fish.
The taste is nice.

Overall, personally I think Sabai Dee Cafe is a very nice place to have dinner. The food, environment and service are good enough for me to recommend it to all of you. Also, the price is reasonable.

After dinner time, we were going to our next destination that is Cruise Music Family Karaoke. It is so sad that we forget to take photo or selfie at there because all of us too enjoy singing. Haha.

On 16th May, Pei Ching and I didn't skip any class. Four of us met up after we two finished our class. We went to Aman Central Mall in the evening. We had our dinner there. When shopping in Uniqlo, Aman Central Mall, we decided to buy a same new shirt as our friendship shirt. RM19 per piece with a very good quality. It is so happy and excited when four of us changed to the same shirt at the same time. The shirt is just like a prove of our friendship. *FRIENDSHIP FOREVER*

Same spectacles, same shirt, same dream. <3 Love you all. <3

Dean's List Award Ceremony

This afternoon I attended the Dean's List Ceremony of School of Business Management (SBM), UUM with my course mates who are also invited to attend the ceremony. The Dean's List, prepared and published every semester. It gives recognition to degree-seeking students who have achieved a minimum 3.50 grade point average (GPA) during the last semester.

It is so happy that I can maintain my grade point average above 3.50. It finally pays off after  I studied hard. It is my third time to go for Dean's List Award Ceremony. I hope that I can work harder and keep on getting this award until I graduate. It is a very big recognition for my accomplishment in academic. Also, the eagerness to get this award every semester, it becomes my motivation to study.

At the ceremony, the Dean's List certificates are presented and those students who have achieved 4.0 GPA are also acknowledged. They becomes my role model in academic. Hopefully I can sit on the 4.0 row on day soon. Haha. I believe that nothing is impossible. But firstly, I have to work harder and harder than others.

Finally all my hard work has paid off. Hehe.

Dean's List Award certificate. A recognition of academic achievement.

A Light Bulb Day at Hana Cafe, Penang

The Cafe culture has been blooming in Penang and it doesn't look like its slowing down anytime soon. There are too many choices of cafe to meet up. So, my high school bestie threw this super hard decision to me by asking me to do some searching on which cafe is more special and suitable for us to catch up. After doing some searching through popular tags in Instagram, then I found that Hana Cafe that is located at Tanjung Bungah, a Korean style cafe is a quite good cafe to catch up with Pui Ging and also her boy friend. Hmmm. Being a light bulb is quite suffering. Haha.

With my pretty high school best friend, Pui Ging. <3

Hana Cafe is located at Tanjung Bungah (opposite of Dalat International School). The cafe has a very cozy environment. Maybe this cafe is still quite new, so there are limited choices in the menu list. We have ordered the Korean Fried Chicken with Korean chili sauce and Honey Nuts Bingsu since it seems to be better known. Anyway, it is a place that worth for second visit.

Korean Fried Chicken with chili sauce. (Half Chicken for RM 28)

Honey Nuts Bingsu (RM12)

All Izz Well

All Izz Well [Full HD Song]- 3 Idiots

Movie Recommended: (Watch it by clicking the link below)

[ 3 Idiots - Movie Online with English Subtitles - in HD ]

All Izz Well, my favourite Indian song, is the theme song of 3 Idiots, which is also my favorite movie. Whenever I feel sad or down, I will automatically play this song and listen it through phone or open Youtube and watch this video clip because I feel the lyrics can make me think more positively and the rhythm can help me forget about the unhappiness.

Jab life ho out of control
When life goes out of control,

Honthon ko kar ke gol
Draw back your lips,

Honthon ki kar ke gol
Draw back your lips,

Seeti bajaa ke bol
Whistle and Exclaim!!

Jab life ho out of control
When life goes out of control,

Honthon ki kar ke gol
Draw back your lips,

Seeti bajaa ke bol
Whistle and Exclaim!!

Aal Izz Well!!
All Is Well!!

Murgi kya jaane aande ka kya hoga
How can a hen know the future of its egg?

Aree life milegi ya tawee pe fry hoga
Will it get life or get fried on a pan,

Koi na jaane apna future kya hoga
No one knows what our future will be.

Honth ghuma
So draw back your lips,

Seeti bajaa ke bol
Whistle and Exclaim,

Bhaiyaa aal izz well!!
Brother, all is well!!

Aree bhaiyaa all izz well!!
O Brother, all is well!!

Aree chachu aal izz well!!
Friend, all is well!!

Aree bhaiyaa all izz well!!
O Brother, all is well!!

Confusuin hi confusion hai
Confusion Prevails,

Solution kuch pata nahin
Nobody knows the solution,

Solution jo mila to saala
When a solution is found,

Question kya tha pata nahin
We lost the track of 'What was the question?'

Dil jo tera baat pe Ghabraaye
When your heart is restless everytime,

Dil pe rakh ke haath usae tu fuslaa le
Keep a hand on your heart and console it,

Dil idiot hai pyaar se usko samjha le
The heart's an idiot, knock sense into it with kindness.

Honth ghuma
So draw back your lips,

Seeti bajaa ke bol,
Whistle and Exclaim,

Bhaiyaa aal izz well!!
Brother, all is well!!

Aree bhaiyaa aal izz well!!
O Brother, all is well!!

Aree chachu aal izz well!!
Friend, all is well!!

Aree bhaiyaa aal izz well!
O Brother, all is well!!

Scholarship ki pi gayaa daaru ghum to phir bhi mitaa nahin
I guzzled te liqour of scholarship, but the despair, didn't lessen.

Agarbattiyan raakh ho gayi God to phir bhi dikha nahi
The incense sticks burnt to ash, but we didn't see the God!!

Bakra kya jaan uski jaan ka kya hoga
How can a goat know what happens to it (life)?

Sekh ghusegi ya saala Keema hoga
Will it be skewered or will it be minced?

Koi na jaane apna future kya hoga
No one knows what our future will be.

To Honth ghuma
So draw back your lips,

Seeti bajaa ke bol
Whistle and Exclaim,

Bhaiyaa aal izz well!!
Brother, all is well!!

Aree bhaiyaa aal izz well!!
O Brother, all is well!!

Aree chachu aal izz well!!
Friend, all is well!!

Aree bhaiyaa aal izz well!!
O Brother, all is well!!

Murgi kya jaane aande ka kya hoga
How can a hen know the future of its egg?

Aree life milegi ya tawee pe fry hoga
Will it get life or get fried on a pan,

Koi na jaane apna future kya hoga
No one knows what our future will be.

A visit to University Science of Malaysia (USM)

To meet up my secondary high school best friends, my friend and I planned to have a visit to University Science of Malaysia (USM) because one of my best friend, Y Mun is studying at USM.

First, Celine has came and fetched me from my house to USM. It took around 20 minutes to reach the destination. Both of us reached Y-Mun's hostel earlier than Jing Wen. After 5 minutes, Jing Wen reached. What surprised me is that, my high school tablemate, Jing Wen has baked Y Mun who is March birthday baby and also me who is January birthday girl a coffee hazelnuts cake. Jing Wen claimed that it is her first time to bake this cake. Seriously, I love the cake so much. The taste and the cake's design are so nice.

Jing Wen's Handmade Coffee Hazelnuts Birthday Cake.

Seriously touched by how much effort Jing Wen put to bake the cake for Y Mun and I.
Thank you, Jing Wen. <3

After a short birthday celebration, Y Mun has introduced us some new friends and also invited them to eat and settle the cake together because the cake's portion is too much for three girls. Haha.

New friends in USM.

After that, Y Mun brought us to her favorite cafe in USM, that is The Kapit's Cafe. I love the decoration of the cafe and also the environment so much. Hope that UUM will open such kind of cafe soon then I think I will go to support the cafe everyday. Haha. Y Mun has ordered and treated us Green Tea Coffee and then chit chat at there for around 2 hours. Hmmm...It is a good place to chat and meet friends.

The Kapit's Cafe which is located in USM.

True friends are never apart.

The Road Not Taken

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost, a poem recommended by my International Business lecturer during last semester.  It is a poem that I could read everyday and still have a love for it. So, I would like to share this poem with everyone.

I am a person who seldom read poems and also not really know how to enjoy reading poems. But, this poem has caught my interest. This poem has got to be among the best-known, most-often misunderstood poems on the planet.

The summary for this poem is about the writer stands in the jungle and considering a fork in the road. Both of the ways are equally worn and overlaid with untrodden leaves. The writer chooses one and telling himself that he will take the another road for another day. However, he knows that it has minimal possibility that he have second chance to do so. He admits that someday in the future he will recreate the scene with a slight twist. He also claimed that he took the less traveled road.

The two roads in the poem reflects to two choices of life. It is why this poem caught my attention and interest. All of us are facing a lot of choices in our daily lives. Through the poem, the writer wants to tell us that we have to be brave in choosing choices and the consequence in every decision. It is because that we will loose the opportunity for the other choices. In fact, everyday we have done many decisions indirectly such as what we going to eat for lunch, dinner and what task have to do first and so on. Every single decision is also very important because a small decision can change our entire life. So, we should make a good decision by choosing the best way and have to be brave enough to make decision in order to choose the best choice. Even the choice is not the favorite one.

BE BRAVE AND FEARLESS TO KNOW THAT
EVEN IF  YOU DO MAKE A WRONG DECISION,
YOU'RE MAKING IT FOR A GOOD REASON.

I'm Coming Home

I'm finally home! HAHAHA. Ya, I am now super happy and excited. The feeling after waiting for the coming of mid-semester break to back home for months and finally with my family right now is wonderful.

It's is so happy that finally I can eat my mum's home cook dishes. I miss it a lot when I'm further my study in UUM. My mum has specially cooked for me my favorite soup. Sadly, I forget to take photo of it because I was too eager to drink it until forget to capture it. Haha. My mum has also prepared taco boat, a tradisional Mexican dish as my supper. A taco boat composed of a boat shaped wheat tortilla with a variety of fillings. The fillings are including chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese with taco sauces and sour cream.

Soft tortilla taco boats are put into oven to make it crispy before adding the fillings.

Soft Tortilla Cheesy Taco Boat. *Yum Yum*

All six of my family members were able to be together, and it was absolutely heaven. I am so grateful for my family, especially as time passes. There's nobody like family. Love every single one of them!

Good good night and sweet sweet dreams!! <3

My First Post on Blogger

Hi, everyone! Welcome to my blog!

First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Ch'ng Hui Chen. I am a 22 years old girl who is still a student. The university where I am currently studying is Northern University of Malaysia (UUM) and taking Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). My hometown is Penang, Malaysia.

I would like to thank my Computer Application In Management lecturer, Dr. Wiwied Virgiyanti for giving me a chance to create my own blog. When I was studying secondary high school, I have planned to open and create my own blog to express my feeling and share everything that happened in my daily life, but at last I did not create because of my laziness and I never know that it is so easy to create a blog.

So, from now on, I want to try and practice to update my daily life on blog when I am free. Writing blog actually is a very good habit because it provide us a platform to jot down our daily feelings and thoughts. Also, it will improve our writing skills indirectly. Besides that, writing habit will also give us a power of perspective. Revisiting past time and selves will help you realize that day-to-day changes so much and you have, too. To me, I think it is a productive way to spend my leisure time.

Lastly, I also hope that everyone especially my friends can try to write blog and enjoy blogging like what I do.
